Staying at High Sands Creek Campsite, Stiffkey at the weekend I found a beach I had not visited, even after a lifetime of visiting North Norfolk. With my love of open space and the horizontal line a current obsession, it’s no surprise that the walk out across Stiffkey marshes to the beach and eventually the sea, was an extraordinary experience. ¬†Only to be done at low tide, the long walk out to the sea is likely to be a solitary experience….we just saw a seal, watching us from the sea, keeping an eye on our westie terrier. ¬†Thoughts on new work – drawings and paintings related to this amazing landscape and the inner contemplative space….
